The Inov-8 X-Talon 200 Fell Running Shoes The Inov-8 X-Talon 200 Fell Running Shoes are specifically designed with obstacle course racers in mind. A good choice for intermediate runners, or as a training shoe for the more advanced. Upper The upper to the X-Talon is highly durable, while still remaining lightweight, allowing you to move easily through difficult terrain. The standard fit is specially developed using rock climbing rubber technology to optimise grip in wet conditions. The upper has a DWR (durable water repellent) coating to protect you against the elements, while retaining the shoes durability. The addition of rubberised caps over exposed EVA midsole areas deliver added durability to the shoe, also gives greater traction and protection when climbing and descending slopes. Midsole Injected EVA provides a light and flexible midsole to cushion your foot when running on the toughest terrains, giving protection against impact and potential injury as the X-Talon looks to give you comfort mixed with vital protection any trail runner needs. Outsole Meta-FlexTM employs an anatomically positioned flex grooves that sit directly beneath the metatarsal heads. This enables the shoe to flex as the foot does, with the toes splayed to encourage a natural transition, whilst a Fascia Band increases propulsion efficiency and reduces fatigue. This shoe uses Inov-8's exclusive sticky rubber compound which has been specifically developed using climbing rubber technology. Providing optimal grip in wet conditions.
